Badger Explorer Scout Unit is the largest in Belper
District (the same District as Duffield Scouts). Their programme
is varied so the young people have the chance to try lots of different
things.
One of the highlights is their annual summer camp
to Cornwall which offers lots of activities and a chance to relax and
enjoy their time away.
Badger tend to meet on a Thursday evening, however
sometimes activities are done on other days.

Viking are based in Allestree and although it is
outside of our District, a number of Scouts have joined this Unit with
friends from school.
Viking offer a lot of activities at a high level
and compete in competitions around the UK. These activities run
almost every week and various nights.
Viking have a fortnightly meeting on a Sunday
evening to work towards D of E however these meetings do not tend to
include any activities. |
